AP® Professional Development
East Institutes is very excited about returning to in-person APSIs in 2022!

We are anticipating a great event with our return to Grandville High School June 21-24, 2022, as well as the start of a new AP Summer Institute in the Columbus, Ohio, area.
An APSI management group, East Institutes will operate an APSI at Clark Hall (Gahanna-Jefferson Schools) east of Columbus. The event will take place June 27-30, 2022.

AP teachers and administrators throughout Michigan and Ohio will be notified about these opportunities for professional development specific to AP courses. Sessions will be offered in about 15 different course areas, including several popular courses in science, art, math, social studies, English and world languages.

East Institutes will be working with Grandville Public Schools (Michigan) and Gahanna-Jefferson Schools (Ohio), as well as Ashland University and the College Board, in its management of these events.

AP Summer Institutes are four-day intensive teacher training events in which an AP teacher meets with other teachers of their course under the leadership of a national expert, or consultant, in the course. Consultants, who are endorsed by the College Board, offer support in teachers’ learning of the AP course’s framework, the course's culminating national examination and powerful instructional strategies.

Contact Dr. Mike Hobolth, mhobolth@eastinstitutes.com, for more information about these events.
